New York Sports, Boston’s Darth Vader
Posted in Basketball, Cup, Health, Sports, Sports News on May 17th, 2009 by Andrew Mullins – Be the first to commentThere’s no rivalry in Boston bigger than the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry, and perhaps no bigger rivalry in professional sports. Every matchup between the two teams is an epic showdown, and we’re about to witness another one.
The Red Sox have shown great strength this season against their foes, winning 8 of the first 9 games they’ve played together. The Yankees historically rule over the Sox, but this decade has been much kinder to the Red Sox, winners of more world series.
After the series this weekend, more reasons will be spawned for me to hate the Big Apple! David Ortiz is going to get skewered and that is putting it mildly, due to his possible steroid involvement. You thought Pedro got it bad with “Whose Your Daddy?!”
Despite Boston’s recent success, it still gets under my skin every time I see New Yorkers ripping Boston apart. They’ve always been our biggest spots enemy.
