Can A Roulette System Work

Posted in Sports on November 1st, 2009 by Daniel Sanderson – Be the first to comment

I am going to speak for a few minutes about roulette systems and if they work or not. So many people have tried and failed to make a successful roulette system.

A roulette system fails because of the house advantage. The advantage is down to the green slots, the zeros. For example, in European roulette, the house edge is 2.56%, this is difficult to beat.

A progressive roulette system is therefore put into place by a lot of players. This works by after a loss is experienced, increasing your bets so a win will cancel out the loss.

This has led to the bankruptcy of many people. When you use a progressive roulette system you always end up hitting a bad losing run and it can be very difficult to walk away. Many people place bets beyond their means to try and cover their losses.

How To Stop Losing At Online Roulette

Posted in Sports on October 22nd, 2009 by Ralph Shaw – Be the first to comment

I am going to take a few moments of your time to speak about why most people lose when they play online roulette. There’s no question that online roulette is the most popular online casino game and almost every player ends up losing money.

The reason many people lose lies in the house edge. This is built into the game layout and it is impossible to overcome it. 5.13% is the housed edge you are up against with American roulette and it is less with European roulette, it is only 2.56%.

What causes this house edge? It is the green slots otherwise known as the zero. The payouts aren’t fair because of the zero, if there wasn’t a zero they would be fair and this is what creates the house edge.

I will give you an example of how much you can expect to lose because of the housed edge and use European roulette for this example. In a game of 100 spins you could expect to lose 2.56 if you just placed a 1 bet on every spin. This doesn’t sound a lot and most people lose more and this is because they play against their odds rather than with them.

Are you considering purchasing a snooker table? If you enjoy snooker, then owning your own table is certainly an attractive option. Snooker tables developed from the old English billiard tables.

Choosing a good snooker table means considering things like table size and quality of manufacture. If you like a more challenging game, you will probably want a table with the smallest pocket requiring greater shooting accuracy. You will also to have chosen a table that matches the size of the room that you will be using to play snooker.

The room should be spacious enough to allow players to shoot without bumping their cues into the wall or furniture. For most tables, you will need to leave at least 3 feet of playing room around the whole table. For professional tables, the room would need at least 6 feet around the entire table.

The size of the cue is another thing to consider when buying a snooker table. Professional cue measures 57 inches long, however for many players a smaller cue is sufficient. You should remember that you cannot use a long cue on too short of a table. Cues generally come in 36 inch, 48 inch and 57 inch sizes.
