Posted in Sports on May 17th, 2012 by David Patron – Be the first to comment

True Poker is new on the scene of online gaming and worth watching. The company is owned by a team based in Costa Rica whose members are avid technology geeks who combine this with their love of gaming to give you a special gaming experience. The focus is to create the most realistic virtual playing environment found anywhere on the internet in a simple, clean layout that is easy to install and use.

The registration and download of the software is a snap. The layout is unusual in that there is a separation of the application with the virtual casino being on the top half and the game tabs on the bottom. There is a readily found chat feature and everyone will find the application a smooth easy ride to navigate. Because of its youth, there are not many cash games and tournaments but what there are include options that everyone will enjoy.

When you visit the site you will find about 25 tables going with 500 players. Hold Em and Omaha are the only cash games so don’t expect the rare and esoteric variants at True Poker. You will find, however, scads of tournaments and sit-n-gos to suit your fancy and even a multi-level heads up tournament tab that you don’t run into on very many sites. True Poker pays much heed to its players suggestions for improvement and when all of them are put into place, the site is sure to rival the big guns.

Poker Jargon with Regard to Strategy

Posted in Sports on May 14th, 2012 by Thomas Kearns – Be the first to comment

We will begin by exploring the variety of poker game types. These can be broken into two major groups, that of tournament poker and non-tournament poker, or to put it another way, cash poker and ring poker. Tournaments can be in the form of multitable (MTT) or single table (STT). The single table tournaments are most often played as sit and go games (SNG) meaning that the game won’t start until the table is full.

There are satellite game tournaments where players have access to the higher status and higher fee games, or the freerolls, where there is no fee to enter into play, then there are the guaranteed games where a prize pool is guaranteed by the game’s originators. A buy-in fee is mandatory in all but the freeroll tournaments. Sometimes, the house will allow players to purchase more chips using the re-buy or add-on options.

The number of players at a table determines their classification, i.e. 8-10 players make up a long table, and 4-10 players make up a short table. Then there are heads-up tables (HU) where the play is one-on one.

Online Poker Anger – Keep it In or Let it Out

Posted in Sports on May 13th, 2012 by Thomas Kearns – Be the first to comment

One major advantage of online poker play over play in a casino is there is no need to worry about any show of emotion. There are no opponents present to react to your outbursts or read your body language. You can laugh, cry like a girl, swear or pray, and there are plenty of items at hand that you can break or attempt to damage without having to pay a fine – presuming you are playing at your own place.

The only thing you want to leave alone is the computer. People and pets sharing the apartment with you will have probably learned by now that they better stay away from the serious poker player. Anyone who hasn’t learned yet is fair game.

While it is clearly an advantage, it may turn on you and effect your mental health. It is widely believed that containing your emotions is not good for a person or as a player. The belief is that the more you depress the expression of emotion, the greater the likelihood that the pent up frustration will effect your decision making and possibly lead to a decline in your mental health.

Various Benefits In Taking Liquid Vitamins

Posted in Sports on May 10th, 2012 by Bobby Pena – Be the first to comment

More individuals are living a lifestyle that is healthy. That new lifestyle of being healthy involves taking vitamins and eating a nutritious diet. Instead of taking tablets or pills there are many benefits to taking liquid vitamins.

Today’s society makes it vital for a person to take their health seriously. Getting sick can cost a person greatly in various ways. It will lead to medical payments for visits to the doctor, missing work with possible days off without pay, or even leading to that person being terminated from their job. Exercising, eating right, and taking vitamins are all things that a person should focus on for a healthy lifestyle.

One of the big benefits of taking a liquid vitamin is that it is absorbed into an individual’s body quickly. Liquid vitamins are estimated to be absorbed at a rate of over 95 percent while a pill or tablet is absorbed at 20 percent or less. So even though the hard pill version of a vitamin may be a cheaper alternative to liquid the amount of vitamin actually absorbed by the body is much different and should be taken into account.

Liquid multivitamins are available for use, these also have a good choice of antioxidants. It is important for a person to take a multivitamin with antioxidants since they are needed by the body but not produced by it naturally. Vitamins A, C, and E are the typical antioxidants seen in a multivitamin.

Taking Classes For Ocean Sports

Posted in Sports on May 9th, 2012 by Byron Jonas – Be the first to comment

Now that summer time is drawing near and you have all of your equipment for ocean sports in hand, you may want to take a CPR class so you can save other people or you can teach other people to save you if something were to happen in the water. You also would want to be careful of the creatures in the water that could cause you to get hurt.

You could be surfing or kayaking or even swimming but you have to realize while you can still have fun you have to think about what would happen if a wave suddenly knocks you off your feet while doing either of these things. Swimming is a sport and if you are a child old or young, then you would want to stay by your parents in case anything were to happen to you. Hopefully nothing will but in case anything does, your parents will be right beside you and they will either rush you to the nearest hospital or save you themselves.

It’s a good idea to take CPR classes before you start your summer vacation to the beach especially if you have children because if something were to happen to your child and you didn’t know what to do depending what the circumstance is, your child’s life may be endangered. You would want to take CPR classes as a precaution because you never know what could happen in the water.
